2011 Stand Tall Scholarship Dinner Ceremony

The 2011 Stand Tall Scholarship Dinner Ceremony will present this year's scholarship winners at The Gallery - 137 Taos Street, Slidell, LA on Friday, July 22nd, 2011 at 7 pm. Dinner will be prepared by Feast Catering/The Gallery. There will be a cash bar and an auction. The cost per person is $30.00.

The Chris Duhon Stand Tall Foundation Scholarship

The Chris Duhon Stand Tall Foundation Scholarship is administered by an established committee selected by Chris Duhon and the Stand Tall Foundation. The committee will review the applications to determine the recipient(s) based on outstanding academics, leadership skills and their commitment to the community. The committee will consider the grade point average, community involvement, personal character and ambitious purpose of each applicant.

Chris Duhon and the Stand Tall Foundation seek to develop and encourage a history of service in one’s community. It is our wish to encourage students to explore community service as an opportunity that will strengthen his/her determination to become accountable leaders and remind him/her that what he/she gains from their philanthropic work will extend far beyond the classroom.
