Boys and Girls Club Slidell
What the Boys & Girls Clubs Offer - Fun!
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Slidell is under the direction of The Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Louisiana (BGCSELA), who provides quality learning environments that encourage youth, especially those most in need, to become responsible and productive adults.
For more than 40 years, members have had the opportunity to learn and grow –while setting goals, developing lasting relationships, and giving back to the community. Through these formative experiences, members acquire the tools to help realize their full potential.
BGCSELA offers a full schedule of club programs that promote the development of boys and girls. These activities build character, cultivate new skills, and create a sense of belonging.
Our organization continuously addresses youth development needs and provides a safe haven of opportunity. We encourage you to browse the site to learn more about our mission and the invaluable programs we offer.
The Chris Duhon Stand Tall Foundation was an intricate part of the reopening mission of the Slidell club after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
The foundation offers several "camperships" to Slidell club members to participate in the Chris Duhon Basketball Camp. The "camperships" allow the club members to attend the camp for free.
The Slidell club is located at 705 Dewey Avenue, Slidell, LA 70460
