Basketball Camps

July 23-27, 2012 - Fritchie Park Gym - Slidell, LA

For the 8^th consecutive year, Chris Duhon is partnering with his high school coach, Jay Carlin for the Chris Duhon Basketball Camp, which will be held July 23-27, 2012 at Fritchie Park Gym in Slidell, LA.

Camp Activities

The five-day camp is designed for boys & girls, ages 7-15 and focuses on fundamentals of basketball such as ball-handling, passing, shooting, dribbling, footwork, defense and rebounding.

From beginning to end, each day is crammed with a high level of instruction for beginners as well as experienced basketball players in a fun and safe environment.

Camp Hours

The camp will run daily from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, with an early dismissal on Friday at 1:00 pm.

Chris actively participates in the camp as a coach and speaks to the campers about work ethic, discipline, respect, teamwork and academic excellence. Chris is a 2000 honors graduate of Salmen High School.

Coach Jay Carlin

Coach Carlin is one of Louisiana's most respected and sharpest basketball minds. The 29^thyear head coach at Salmen has seen great success as a coach and teacher and he continues to take great interest in helping Chris teach basketball fundamentals to campers.

Coach Carlin is the best in my opinion, and he takes personal interest in creating a fun and positive learning experience for our campers, said Chris Duhon.
